dawn breaks morn
from a dew lit night
silver rays dancing
into my sight
orange melts yellow
as purple smooths to pink
painting art from God
lending time for me to think
of blessings mounting
from day to day
and promises honored
even though i sometimes stray
how where i was
is so far from where i am
troubles and sorrows though not gone
lend way to my newfound friend
a friend whose fingers paint the sky
sets the sun, turns on the night
who raises flowers from the soil
wisp the winds to cool the farmers toil
brushes dust from my back
wipes the sweat from my brow
and as i travel down
life's somewhere's, some why's
He leads me through them
when i don't know how
whose there to fluff
my pillow light
and lay me down
into the night...

i just got back from a short stay in the woods and farmlands of southwest Georgia. It was so beautiful there that it inspired this page. i actually was able to pickup and eat peanuts from the newly harvested red clay fields. they were so good. Some of my previous pages have been to serious for some... with God's beauty and the love of Jesus.. i just can't be sad...the song is an edit of a Bob Aldridge piano solo ...
